HR Module

Open positions, the hiring pipeline, and headcount

Last updated 2026-11-01

The HR module tracks the jobs you are hiring for, from opening the position to filling it. Each position moves through Open → Interviewing → Offer Sent → Filled, or is Cancelled.

Open the module

The Modules group in the sidebar shows a page for each of your work roles. To pick your roles, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose My work roles. Pick up to 3 roles, then click Save changes in the bar at the bottom. You can also find this page in Workspace Settings → Your work roles. Roles belong to one workspace, so you can pick different roles in each workspace.

You can open any module, even one that is not your role, from Modules → All Modules. If you don't see Modules in the sidebar, the workspace owner has turned off Role Modules in Workspace Settings → Features.

The dashboard

The top of the page has four numbers:

  • Open positions — positions with the status Open.
  • Filled this month — positions whose Filled on date is this month.
  • Total headcount — the people hired: the headcount of all filled positions added up.
  • HR hours — hours from your work logs tagged HR this month.

Below the numbers, two charts show By status and HR hours (14 days). Under the charts, Positions lists each position with its department, type, headcount and the date it opened.

  4. Click Create.

Change or remove a position

Click Edit on a position to change it, then click Update. Click Delete to remove it.

When you hire someone, set the status to Filled and also set the Filled on date. Without the date, the position does not count in Filled this month.

Tips

  • Log hiring work, such as interviews and writing job posts, with the HR role, so the hours chart shows how much time hiring takes.
  • Keep cancelled positions instead of deleting them, so you can see which jobs you stopped hiring for.
  • Ask AI at the top of the page opens Ask AI in HR mode, so its answers focus on HR work.
