Scheduling & Participants
Schedule upcoming meetings, invite participants, and send reminders
Last updated 2026-09-12
Alongside logging past meetings (see Meetings → Logging a Meeting), Opzello can schedule upcoming meetings and manage the people attending them.
Join Codes
Every scheduled meeting is automatically assigned a unique join code when created. Share the code (or the generated join link) with participants so they can find and join the right meeting without confusion between similarly named calls.
Adding Participants
Open a meeting and add participants by email. Each participant has a role (e.g., host, attendee) and a status that updates as they respond. You can add or remove participants any time before or after the meeting is held.
Calendar Invites
When you add a participant, Opzello sends them an invite email with a calendar attachment (.ics) so the meeting drops straight into their calendar app of choice (Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, etc.) with the correct date, time, and join details.
Automated Reminders
As the scheduled time approaches, Opzello automatically emails a reminder to participants — the host is excluded, since they're the one who scheduled it. This runs as a background job, so it fires even if no one is actively using the app at the time.
From Scheduled to Logged
Once a scheduled meeting has happened, update its outcome stage and notes the same way you would a manually logged meeting — the two flows share the same underlying record, so scheduling doesn't create extra bookkeeping later.
