Logging a Meeting
Record outcomes, notes, and follow-ups from a call
Last updated 2026-09-12
To log a meeting, open Meetings → Log meeting or use the quick action from the dashboard. Core fields:
- Title — e.g., “Acme discovery call”
- Business type — Sales, partnership, internal, etc.
- Date and duration
- Stage — Outcome in your pipeline
- Contacts — Link existing or create inline
- Notes — Raw recap; AI can refine later
Attach next steps as tasks before saving. Opzello can create tasks with due dates assigned to you by default. Optionally link the meeting to a campaign, project, or goal for reporting.
After save, the meeting appears on the pipeline board and in contact activity timelines. Convert outcomes to work logs if you spent significant prep time—many users log 0.5h research under Marketing or Operations separate from the meeting record itself.
Editing a meeting preserves history; stage changes should reflect reality (do not mark “won” until signed). Use lost reasons for quarterly reviews.
For recurring syncs, duplicate the prior meeting and update notes to save typing standing agenda items.
