Goal Setting
Create objectives, timelines, and check-in cadence
Last updated 2026-09-12
Goals represent outcomes you care about this quarter—or any period you define. Each goal has a title, description, status, target date, role alignment, and weighted key results.
Create a goal from Goals → New goal. Choose status on_track initially; update as reality unfolds. Progress percentage aggregates from key results unless you override manually.
Check-ins capture weekly mood (confident, neutral, concerned) and narrative notes. History builds a timeline for retrospectives and 1:1s.
Goals appear on the dashboard gauge and in reports. Archive completed goals to reduce clutter; soft delete keeps data for audits.
Align goals to roles so marketing OKRs do not dilute engineering dashboards. Link related tasks from the task board for execution tracking separate from measurement.
Review goals every Monday: update statuses before checking email so priorities frame the week.
