Subscription Management
Plans, trial, renewals, and changing or cancelling a subscription
Last updated 2026-11-01
Billing in the Hub shows your current plan, status, renewal date and days remaining. To upgrade or downgrade your plan, or to renew it, open Support in the Hub and choose the topic Plan, renewal or seats. A short form lets you pick what you want, the plan, how many months and how many seats, so the Opzello team can set it up. You get a reply on the support ticket and by email.
Plans
- Pro — pooled seats, a larger AI allowance, campaigns and automations.
- Team — more pooled seats, the largest AI allowance, team analytics and CSAT, the read-only REST API, and extra seats when you need them.
Accounts the Opzello team sets up can also be on the Free plan, with one WhatsApp number, the shared team inbox and a limited monthly AI allowance.
Seats are pooled across the workspaces you own rather than billed per person. For current prices, seat counts and allowances, see the pricing page — it reads them from the same place the app bills from, so it cannot go stale the way a number typed into this page can.
Free trial
A new account starts with a free trial of Pro: every Pro feature, seat and AI allowance. When the trial ends your workspaces turn read-only until a plan starts; nothing is deleted. To start a plan, open Support in the Hub, choose Plan, renewal or seats, then Start a plan, and pick the plan and how many months. The Opzello team will start it for you.
Renewals
A week before a plan set up by the Opzello team ends, we email you. To keep your plan, open Support in the Hub (the email has an Open a support ticket button), choose Plan, renewal or seats, then Renew my plan, and pick how many months. Nothing changes before the end date, and nothing is deleted.
Founding price
People who subscribe while the founding offer is open pay a lower founding price. It stays locked for as long as the subscription stays alive: pausing, paying late within the grace period, and switching plan or billing interval all keep it — a switch to a different plan or to yearly billing applies that new plan's own founding price, not the old dollar amount. When a subscription ends — a cancellation reaches its end date, the grace period for a failed payment runs out, or the plan is removed — the founding price is gone for good, and subscribing again uses the regular price. The pricing page shows both prices while the offer is open.
Cancelling
Cancel from Billing in the Hub. You keep full access until the end of the period you paid for, and Undo cancel is available until then. After that date your workspaces turn read-only and the account moves to the Free plan. Your data is kept.
Pausing
Pause from Billing for one month or more (the longest pause is shown there). While paused, your workspaces are read-only — everyone can still read everything, but nothing can be changed until you resume — and nothing is deleted. Incoming WhatsApp messages are still received and saved, but automatic replies, automations, scheduled campaigns, AI analysis, and digest/reminder emails stop until you resume. Any founding price is kept, and the paid days you had left are added back when you resume. The subscription resumes on its own on the date shown, or straight away with Resume now.
Overdue payments
If a payment is late, Billing shows how many days your workspaces keep working. Pay within that grace period and nothing changes. Online card payment is not available yet. Open Support in the Hub, choose Plan, renewal or seats, then Renew my plan, and the Opzello team will help you pay. If the grace period runs out, the plan ends.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires it. When the Opzello team does issue a refund, it appears in Billing as a credit note.
Billing questions
For billing disputes or payment issues, open a ticket from Support in the Hub sidebar (you need to be signed in) and choose the Billing and invoices topic. Include the relevant invoice ID. To start, renew or change a plan, or add team seats, choose Plan, renewal or seats — a short form lets you pick the plan, how many months and how many seats, so the Opzello team can set it up without back-and-forth. If you cannot sign in, the public Support page lists an email address to reach us.
Thank you — that helps us improve the docs.
