Design Module

Design assets, review workflow, and creative hours tracking

Last updated 2026-09-12

The Design module organizes creative output: UI designs, branding assets, illustrations, prototypes, and research deliverables. Enable it by selecting the Design role in Settings → Preferences.

Design assets are the core record. Each asset stores title, type, status, and optional notes. Types include UI Design, Branding, Illustration, Prototype, Research, and Other.

Status follows a review workflow: Draft → In Review → Approved → Published. Use these stages honestly—mark In Review when you have handed off to a stakeholder, and Approved only when sign-off is received.

The dashboard shows:

  • Status breakdown — donut chart of assets by current stage.
  • Hours by day — 14-day area chart of design work log hours.
  • Asset list — rows with type badge, status, and last updated date.

Log all creative time against the Design role so the AI Analyzer can surface time-per-asset insights. Pair the module with Goals when OKRs target design output (e.g., "ship 3 approved brand assets this quarter").

Use consistent asset naming (e.g., [ProjectName] – [Deliverable]) so reports group cleanly and AI can reference specific pieces by name.
